Services
Accident is an unplanned and uncontrolled event in which the action or reaction of an object, substance, person or radiation results in actual injury or a a probability of injury.
However the terms "unplanned", "uncontrolled" are misleading at times because many events were predictable and prevention was possible with appropriate actions.
An incident is referred as an event(s) in which an injury or ill health (regardless of severity) or fatality occurred, or could have occurred. An accident is a particular type of incident in which an injury or illness actually occurs.
Therefore incidents is a broad term defining either an actual injury or a near miss.
Organization
Sole purpose of this application is to collect and share information regarding incidents which can stop future acidents by ensuring proper steps.
Organizations will be allowed to Register themselves to gather and share information for ensuring safety measures and prevention of undisireable situations.
Depending upon the need of the organizations they have been classified into these three types.
Type of Organizations:
1. Public - The users will be allowed to have access to all public communities and will be allowed to share the posts and news of each public community. The users will have access to all the public communities and private communities that they have access to. This groups will use the "See Something Say Something" Brand.
2. Private (Shareable) - The users who are members to this group will be allowed to have access to this community's posts and news and they will be able to share the information of this community between all the members of this community. This groups will use the "See Something Say Something" Brand.
3. Private (Non-Shareable) - This type of organization will have a standalone version of the application that will only be accessible to the users who are a member of this community and the information of this community will not be shareable. This type of organization will be stand-alone groups and will be allowed to use the application under their own "Brand" and Application Name.
Types of Incidents.

Bomb Threat : A bomb threat or bomb scare is a threat, usually verbal or written, to detonate an explosive or incendiary device to cause property damage, death or injuries, whether or not such a device actually exists.
Fire : Fire is the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products.Fire in its most common form can result in conflagration, which has the potential to cause physical damage through burning.
Large Chemical Spill : A chemical accident is the unintentional release of one or more hazardous substances which could harm human health or the environment. Chemical hazards
Medical/Psychological Crisis : A crisis refers not necessarily to a traumatic situation or event, but to a person's reaction to an event.
Crime : A crime is an unlawful act punishable by a state or other authority. The "act of doing something criminal" accompanied by the "intention to do something criminal"
Sexual Violence and Sexual Misconduct : any sexual act or attempt to obtain a sexual act by violence or coercion, acts to traffic a person or acts directed against a person's sexuality, regardless of the relationship to the victim.
Student In Distress : An aversive state in which a students are unable to completely adapt to stressors and their resulting stress and shows maladaptive behaviors.
Suspicious Letter or Package : The term suspicious packages is being used as a general term to cover a number of articles that could pose a potential threat, to include letters, packages or parcels, and unattended luggage or backpacks.
Weather Events : Unexpected, unusual, unpredictable, severe or unseasonal weather. This report provides information on direct economic losses, deaths, and other impacts for numerous weather and climate disasters including tropical cyclones, floods, droughts and heat waves, severe storms (e.g., tornadoes, hail, and straight-line winds), wildfires, crop freeze events, and winter storms.
